This bicycle is being constructed as a mobile electricity machine. I will get on it, ride it around until i see people, then stop and set up the kickstand so they can have a go at generating electricty.

The goal is to help make the idea of energy more tangible in peoples minds. Just how much energy is that toaster over using? Is the energy being taken for granted becuase it comes from a plug in the wall? This project changes the source.

When complete i will be collecting HDPE grocery bag waste from the streets, then melting and recasting the rubbish into useable plastic forms which i will give away to participants. The electricty could be used for anything though, it's just that heat is the easiest producut to feel and obtain at the moment. Sustainable coffee maker anyone?
