ok, so Hannah and I have been prospecting in California for over a year now.. and (as many of you folks close to me that might have actually visited this site hoping for a window into what the heck we've been up to may have noticed) i have not posted anything relevant or new in that time.
well here is the plan,
  1.  This front page becomes a photo blog.
  2.   I update content
  3.   email me and tell me things
If you'd like any of the pictures to be bigger, just right-clck on them and ask to open them in a new window.

i resigned from Velosport after bringing in Gerard as their new mechanic, and went to YogaBikes. Where i did all of the graphics, online merchandising, designed a few commuter bikes, and am now consulting on an E-trike.
dur the motor was busted on our cruiser. and we had to move it a few miles to a new marina. So that we could live on it legally and locally. so i rebuilt the thing. Here's a pump?
did i mention Gerard came to stay with us?? I've got proof. see him?
here is the side view
so we dove in face first mouths open. gotta give Hannah credit for sending the email with our hilarious cash offer. So we hauled her out of the h2o and got to work.
Boosh. this is our floorplan.

But hanging out with Nathaniel had planted a seed, you see he lived on HIS boat. And Hannah began to feel the same way as we shelled out our hard earned funbucks to our landlord each month..
I segued (sp?) from working at Velo to a position as a volunteer at the Crucible (a fabrication Co-op in oakland, where i taught kids bike skills and hung out.
as Hannah's work got steadier I picked up an hourly job at VeloSport. Run by the Famous Peter Rich, this guy basically pioneered biking in CA as we see it today. Building frames and everything. Cool scene.
like this one :P
And he got me in as a volunteer. So now i could work on B O A T S.
Then i met Nathaniel at Waterside Workshops here in Berkeley. Sweet guitar, oh, you made that?
Wasn't long before we had an apartment and a raised garden :) which became a forest... garden-1 charlie-0.2
Then Hannah and I found our favorite, the Big Sur coastline.
